The Taraba State Government has suspended seven school principals over alleged involvement in sabotaging Governor Kefas’s free education policies.
Their offences range from collecting WAEC and NECO fees to asking students to pay for examination numbers before sitting for exams.
This follows a series of investigations and in some instances, they were caught in the act.
Though the names of the affected principals were not made public, the institutions they head are Government Day Secondary School Kofai in Ardo-Kola Local Government Area; Salihu Dogo Secondary School in Jalingo, and the Government Day Secondary School’s Kununi in Lau, LGA.

Others are Government Day Secondary School Jouro Yinu in Ardo-Kola, Government Day Secondary School Kakulu in Zing; Government Science School Takum, and Government Day Secondary School Yakassai in Wukari.
An investigation is still ongoing to unravel more principals alleged to have been involved in sabotaging government efforts.
