Petrol to cost more as depot owners raise price to N950/litre

The Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, also known as petrol would likely cost more as depot owners have increased prices by about 4.74 per cent.

This comes in response to the recent rise in crude oil prices, with Nigeria’s Bonny Light increasing to $80 per barrel this week, up from $73 per barrel last week.

As a result, several depots have raised their loading prices. Swift Depot, for example, has increased its price to N950 per litre, up from N907 per litre, while Wosbab Depot has raised its price to N950 per litre, up from N909 per litre.

Similarly, Sahara Depot has adjusted its price to N950 per litre from N910 per litre, and Shellplux has raised its loading price to N960 per litre, up from N908 per litre.
