Tinubu begs Nigerians to endure ‘unintentional hardship’

The Minister for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Zaphaniah Jisalo, has emphasized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring the effective functioning of the local government system for the greater good of the nation.
At a sporting event organized by the Mandate Secretary responsible for Youth Affairs in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Minister urged stakeholders to support grassroots sports development in the FCT as a means of identifying and nurturing young talents across the country. He highlighted the football competition as a constructive way of diverting youth from crime and other social vices.
Anthony Adeyinka, the Special Adviser to the President on Youth and Sports, expressed that the event reflects the support of FCT youth for the current administration. He reiterated President Tinubu’s dedication to youth development and empowerment, citing various initiatives aimed at engaging young people in entrepreneurship and skill-building programs.
The Mandate Secretary of the FCT, Bitrus Garki, stated that the youth of the FCT are grateful for the President’s focus on previously overlooked communities. He noted that the government’s policies are beginning to show positive results in all the area councils across the FCT. Garki explained that the competition was a way to recognize the administration’s deliberate efforts to integrate rural populations into governance and provide them with a voice.
The Zakari of Karu Chiefdom, Danfulani Narayi, also expressed support for the administration, praising its initiatives in strengthening communities throughout the FCT. He added that events like this not only promote unity among youth but also foster a sense of ownership in the development of their communities.
