Buhari’s death a loss to Nigeria – Ortom

The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom says the death of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is a loss to the country.
He states that President Buhari occupies a chapter in Nigeria’s political history, owing to his service to the nation, first as a military Head of State from 1984 to 1985, and later as an elected President between 2015 and 2023.
The former Governor notes that President Buhari led Nigeria at a difficult time but contributed his quota to the country.
In a statement by Terver AKase, Special Adviser on Media to the immediate past governor, Chief Ortom sends heartfelt condolences to the Buhari family and prays that God Almighty grants the former President eternal rest.
