A statement by the commission on Tuesday said it had never advised candidates to print any updated invitation slips or proceed to the Police Training Colleges.

It advised successful candidates to be patient and await its official statement on the just concluded recruitment exercise.

The commission noted that It has also not announced any date for the training programme, and the Monday, July twenty two bandied in social media, is just the imagination of the impostors.

The commission warned those spreading the fake reports, to desist as they would be made to face the wrath of the law when apprehended.
