The Benue State House of Assembly has given leadership of Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, three games to win their matches and take the Club out of the relegation zone.
Explaining the performance of the Club in the Nigerian Premier League, Chairman of the Club, Doctor Philip Nongo, who appeared before the House with the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Terkimbi Kyange, said the club was facing challenges because of the place the team is currently playing, stating that the place they are playing their home games is not friendly among other issues.
In his ruling, the Speaker, Aondona Dajoh, asserted that there is disunity among the leadership of the Club, urging on the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, to resolve issues that are affecting the performance of the club.
